Savory Dutch Baby

Dutch baby’s elevate your pancake game to the next level and with the addition of hatch and gruyere cheese you’re going to be the house chef of the year. Trust us on this one. It’s delicious by itself but with the addition of a little drizzle of hot honey it’s next level.


INGREDIENTS

½ Tbsp. Butter

¼ c. Flour

1 Tbsp. Ultrafiltered Milk

2 Eggs

½ tbsp Sugar

⅛ c. Gruyere Cheese, shredded

Pinch of Nutmeg

2 Tbsp. Roasted Hatch Green Chiles, chopped

Optional: hot honey


DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 425
  2. In a blender combine flour, milk, eggs, sugar, and nutmeg
  3. Whisk in cheese and hatch chiles
  4. In a cast iron skillet, melt butter in pan in the oven for 1-2 minutes, making sure the butter does not burn
  5. Pour in the mixture
  6. Bake for 15 minutes
  7. Adjust oven temperature to 300 for 5 additional minutes
  8. Drizzle with hot honey as desired and enjoy
