Little Luxuries

Author Albertsons Market Dietitian | January 14, 2025

Often times we like to reward ourselves for the hard work we are doing on our wellness journey.  This is a great idea…just try to skip the large ice cream sundae as a reward!  With that said, welcome to talking about little luxuries. While we typically tend to think about “luxuries” being high dollar items we are framing it in multiple ways from a grocery perspective. Luxury items could be convenience, time savers, fun, or treats. We know the power that treats can hold over everyone from toddlers to adults and we’re here for the indulgence and to share some of our favorites:

Bath Bombs

Candles

Hand Tied mini flower bouquets

Book or magazine

A new kitchen tool or item (such as a new dishtowel)

Fun cupcake liners (these are perfect for serving up snacks)

Lip gloss or a fun new chapstick

Time savers: pre-chopped veggies, pre-sliced meats, marinated meats, pre-cooked chicken and other meats, steamed and seasoned seafood, prepared salads and side dishes

New treats - dark chocolate, better-for-you chips (such as Wilde Chips, Lesser Evil Curls, Siete Puffs)

A new grocery item that you’ve been seeing but haven’t taken the plunge yet
