Grilled Shrimp Tacos

Tacos are a staple for us here in texas and adding fun twists are always a must. Especially when they come in the form of time-saving hacks

 

INGREDIENTS

1 lb. Shrimp

1 tsp. Chili Powder

1 tsp. Garlic Powder

½ tsp. Onion Powder

½ tsp. Black Pepper

1 Lime

1 tsp. Honey

1 Medium Avocado

¼ Bunch Cilantro

8 Low-Carb Flour Tortillas

1 Southwest Salad Kit

Spray Avocado Oil

Salt and Pepper to taste

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a bag place shrimp, all spices, lime juice and zest and honey and mix to combine
  2. Let marinate for 30 minutes up to overnight
  3. Soak skewers in water
  4. Skewer the shrimp
  5. Heat grill to medium high heat
  6. Grill shrimp skewers for about 3 minutes per side until the shrimp turn pink
  7. Grill corn for about 15-20 minutes, turning once desired color is reached
  8. Dice avocado in chunks
  9. Mince cilantro 
  10. Mix the bagged salad kit together omitting the chip pieces
  11. Build your taco to your liking
