Valentine’s Day class party season is almost upon us. This is your year moms! We’ve got two easy party menus ready to go along with bonus activities that will make you a shoe-in for Mom of the Year!

Sundae Fundae Valentine’s Day Party

V-Day is made for sweet treats but that doesn’t just mean candy. This ice cream sundae bar is a fun one to put together for classes of any size. Ingredients can always be tailored to individual preferences and dietary needs. The sky's the limit on toppings you could include.

On the Menu:

  • Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Chocolate Ice Cream
  • Strawberry Ice Cream
  • Canned Whipped Cream
  • Hot Fudge
  • Caramel Sauce
  • Butterscotch Sauce
  • Chopped Strawberries or Strawberry Sauce
  • Crushed Pineapple or Pineapple Sauce
  • Chopped Nuts
  • Maraschino Cherries

Supplies Needed:

  • Bowls
  • Napkins
  • Ice Cream Scoops

Now, real talk… if you’re brave enough to do an ice cream party for your child’s class, you can totally rock a class activity that they’ll talk about for the rest of the year. Yep, you guessed it -- Make-Your-Own-Fluffy Valentine Slime. Pro-tip: have multiple stations with pre-measured ingredients and an adult at each station helping mix to make sure everyone’s slime comes out perfectly.

What You Need:

  • 3 c Shaving Cream (be sure not to use shave gel)
  • 1 cup Elmer’s PVA Glue
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • Red Food Coloring
  • 5 tsp Signature Care Contact Lens Solution or Saline

  • Add glue, and food coloring to a large bowl and mix until the color is distributed.
  • Next add the shaving cream to the bow and mix.
  • Lastly, add contact lens solution or saline.
  • Mix and knead the mixture until the slime comes together.
  • Voila! Fluffy Valentine Slime!

2 Sweet 2 B 4gotten Valentine’s Day Party

For a more traditional Valentine’s Day party menu, consider a sweet treat spread. If you’re not into baking or find yourself without enough volunteers or time, you can pick up fresh and delicious options at any of our stores.

  • Sugar Cookies
  • Brownies
  • Thumbprint Cookies
  • Chocolate Dipped Strawberries
