Sparkling Rosé Whiskey

makes 1  drink

4-ounces sparkling Rosé 

1-ounce whiskey

1/2 ounce orange simple syrup, (see below for recipe), or more to taste

Cranberries, for garnish

Mint leaves, for garnish

In a glass, pour the whiskey over one large ice cube (or three to four small ice cubes). Top with the sparkling rose and lavender orange syrup. Gently stir.

for the Orange Simple Syrup

In a small pan, combine 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water and 1/4 cup fresh orange juice. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.

Remove the pan from the heat and let cool. Strain the syrup through a sieve. Place in an airtight container and store in the fridge to chill. Serve cold.

Holiday entertaining is in full swing. There’s no better treat than serving your guests a cocktail that embraces the flavor and colors of winter. Especially when it’s served in a pretty glass found at Market Street!

Sparkling Rosé-Whiskey is a quick mix that you will be serving all entertaining season!

To make the orange simple syrup, bring to boil 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water and 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice. Simmer until the sugar is dissolved. Strain the syrup through a sieve and store in an airtight container in the fridge until cold.

When ready to mix, place fresh cranberries and ice cubes in your favorite entertaining glasses. Pour 1-ounce of whiskey over the ice and then top with 4-ounces of sparkling Rose and 1/2 ounce of chilled orange simple syrup (or more to taste if you like a sweet drink). 

Stir and garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves.
