This week, we’ll take you on a flavorful journey through Indian-inspired ideas for breakfast and dinner and also touch on how you can be set up for success when it comes to snack time for your little ones. Check out some ways you can easily infuse your breakfast and dinner meals with the rich tastes and aromas of India!

Breakfast

Keep breakfast fun and exciting by incorporating international flavors to breakfast favorites! Try spicing up the basics by adding flavorful spices like cardamom, ginger, nutmeg, and cinnamon to oatmeal cups, pancake mixes, or on top of greek yogurt.

Snack

Get your kids involved in mealtime by creating a "snack station" filled with pre-portioned options like whole grain crackers, low sugar granola bars, mixed nuts, and applesauce. Shelf stable milks, air popped popcorn and shelf stable fruits like bananas and oranges are also good options. Encourage them to choose their own after-school snacks or let them decide what goes into their lunch box, with a little guidance from you!

Dinner

For a creative twist on traditional pizza, try replacing the usual tomato sauce with Patak’s simmer sauce.Top it off their favorite veggies and pre-cooked chicken seasoned with curry powder to provide a protein and fiber boost with a kick of flavor! Kids will love this fun Indian fusion take on their favorite classic.
